Fredrick Baber dies in fatal Milton plane crash
The death of Fredrick Baber occurred following a plane crash near Milton, NY. This fatal incident happened on Friday.
The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office announced the identification of the pilot involved in the fatal Friday accident over Milton. The pilot, Fredrick Baber, was 58 years old and originally from Port Charlotte, Florida. Alexander Hoff, who was the only passenger, is 39 and from Hollis, New Hampshire, though he was not in the fatal aircraft.
Information from the sheriff’s office indicates the plane crashed and came to rest in a driveway on Wyndham Way shortly before 10:30 a.m. It had previously struck a tree. Baber was pronounced dead at the scene according to law enforcement. Hoff is currently receiving treatment at Albany Medical Center with significant injuries.
