Fatal Tuolumne County, CA motorcycle crash death of Martin Flores – Obituary

Martin Flores, a 40-year-old resident of Modesto, lost his life following a motorcycle accident Saturday evening on Bonds Flat Road in Tuolumne County, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Authorities said Flores was riding a 2006 Suzuki when, at approximately 5 p.m., he lost control of the motorcycle and struck a guardrail. A Fish and Wildlife officer happened upon the scene shortly after the collision and attempted to render emergency assistance.

Despite those efforts, Flores was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators confirmed that he was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

The circumstances surrounding the accident remain under investigation by the CHP as officials work to determine what led to the fatal loss of control.
