Fatal Dinwiddie County crash death of Faiqa Aftab Qureshi – Obituary
Authorities in Dinwiddie County, Virginia, have confirmed the death of a woman in a single-vehicle accident on Interstate 85. The victim was 75-year-old Faiqa Aftab Qureshi of Norfolk.
Virginia State Police reported that the crash occurred around 9 a.m. Friday, about 2.5 miles north of McKenney Highway. Qureshi’s 2024 Lexus RX 350 veered off the left side of the road and caught fire. She was wearing a seat belt but died from her injuries at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
