Fatal Jacksonville, North Carolina pedestrian crash death of Edgar Solis – Obituary

Edgar Solis, a man from Kentucky, was killed on Monday evening after being struck by three vehicles while crossing Highway 17 in Jacksonville, North Carolina. The incident occurred around 9:40 p.m. near Evergreen Drive.

Authorities reported that Solis was first hit by a vehicle present at the scene and then struck by two additional vehicles, including a small red SUV that fled southbound toward Onslow Drive before police arrived. Solis was pronounced dead at the scene, and his next of kin have been notified.
