Madison, Wisconsin Woman Natalie Rupnow Involved in School Shooting at Christian School
MADISON, WISCONSIN — Natalie Rupnow, a 15-year-old resident of Madison, was identified in connection with a deadly shooting that occurred Monday at Abundant Life Christian School.
According to the Madison Police Department, Rupnow opened fire during a study hall on Monday morning at the Christian school, killing a teacher and another teenage student. Authorities say the incident took place shortly before 11 a.m. at the school, which serves students from prekindergarten through high school, and involved multiple victims inside a classroom setting.
Police said Rupnow was found at the scene with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. She was transported to a local hospital, where she died. Six other individuals were wounded in the shooting, including students and a teacher, with two students reported in critical condition at the time. The investigation remains ongoing, and officials have not announced a motive.
