Columbus, Ohio Man Spencer Tepe and Woman Monique Tepe Found Deceased in Franklin County Shooting

COLUMBUS, OHIO — Spencer Tepe, a 37-year-old resident of Columbus, and his wife, Monique Tepe, 39, were found shot to death at their home on the city’s Near East Side in what authorities are investigating as a double homicide.

According to the Columbus Division of Police, officers responded just after 10 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 30, to conduct a welfare check at the residence. Upon arrival, police discovered both victims with apparent gunshot wounds. They were pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators say the incident is believed to have occurred sometime between midnight and 9 a.m.

Police reported there were no signs of forced entry and no weapons were located inside the home. Two children, a 1-year-old boy and a 4-year-old girl, were found inside the residence unharmed. Authorities are actively seeking a suspect and are asking the public for video, photographs, or other digital evidence from the surrounding neighborhood during the time frame in question.
