Guadalupe Gonzalez, 57, was killed Friday morning in northwest Dallas after being shot during an incident on High Meadow Drive, according to Dallas police. Officers responded to the 11800 block of the street around 5:20 a.m. and discovered two people had been shot by a known suspect.

Gonzalez was pronounced dead at the scene, while a second victim was transported to a hospital in critical condition. Authorities have not released the identity or condition of the hospitalized individual.

The suspect, 26-year-old Noah Trueba, was arrested at the scene and is being held on a murder charge. Dallas police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
