Fatal Lake City, Florida shooting death of Tyndale M. Mullins – Obituary

Tyndale M. Mullins, 19, was found dead in the woods Saturday evening in Lake City, Florida, following a deadly incident earlier that day. Law enforcement reports indicate Mullins fatally shot his cousin, 27-year-old Tina Farmer, at a residence on SW Journey Court around 4:07 p.m. before fleeing into the nearby woods.

Authorities established a perimeter and issued a shelter-in-place warning as the armed suspect was at large. Multiple agencies, including SWAT, K-9 teams, drone units, Lake City Police Department, Florida Highway Patrol, Florida Department of Corrections, Florida Wildlife Commission, and the Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office, assisted in locating him. Mullins was discovered deceased in the woods shortly after 7 p.m. The investigation into the events leading up to the shooting remains ongoing.
