Fatal Lake City, Florida shooting death of Tina Farmer – Obituary

Tina Farmer, 27, was shot and killed by her cousin Tyndale M. Mullins, 19, on Saturday afternoon in Lake City, Florida. Deputies from the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a shooting at 502 SW Journey Court around 4:07 p.m. and found Farmer with a fatal gunshot wound to the head.

Authorities established a perimeter around the surrounding wooded area and issued a shelter-in-place alert, as the suspect was believed to be armed. Multiple agencies, including SWAT, K-9 units, drone teams, the Lake City Police Department, Florida Highway Patrol, Florida Department of Corrections, Florida Wildlife Commission, and the Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office, participated in the search.

Later that evening, around 7 p.m., Mullins was found deceased in the woods. All family members were notified, and law enforcement continues to investigate the circumstances leading to the shooting.
