Caroline McGahee dies in fatal Goose Creek crash

Fatal Goose Creek crash death of Caroline McGahee – Obituary

Caroline McGahee, 74, of North Charleston, passed away Thursday afternoon at a local hospital, two days after being struck by a vehicle on Redbank Road. The incident occurred around 4:43 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Berkeley County Coroner, Darnell Hartwell.

Emergency responders, including the Goose Creek Rural Fire Department, Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office, and Berkeley County EMS, attended the scene following the accident.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
