Fatal Bridgewater, Massachusetts pedestrian crash death of Lee Marie Hagerty – Obituary

Lee Marie Hagerty, a 55-year-old woman from Bridgewater, was killed Tuesday evening after being struck by a vehicle on Pleasant Street, according to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office.

Bridgewater Police and Fire Departments responded to the crash around 5:15 p.m. near 792 Pleasant Street, close to the intersection with Scotland Boulevard. Authorities said Hagerty was in the roadway when she was hit by a Honda CRV.

Hagerty was transported by ambulance to Boston Medical Center South in Brockton, where she was later pronounced dead. The driver of the vehicle, a 63-year-old, remained at the scene following the collision.

Investigators from the Bridgewater Police Accident Reconstruction Unit, local detectives, and the Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit continue to examine the circumstances of the crash. No additional details have been released as the investigation is ongoing.
