Fatal Boyle Heights hit-and-run death of Miguel Munozrazo – Obituary
Miguel Munozrazo, 51, was killed early Thursday morning when a vehicle struck him while he was riding his bicycle in Boyle Heights. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner confirmed that Munozrazo suffered multiple blunt force injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash occurred around 5:20 a.m. at the intersection of Boyle Avenue and Seventh Street. According to police, the vehicle involved was traveling south on Boyle Avenue and turned west onto Seventh Street, hitting Munozrazo before fleeing the scene. A white pop-up tent was observed at the site during the initial investigation.
Authorities are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact the LAPD’s Central Traffic Division at 213-833-3746. The investigation into the hit-and-run remains ongoing.
