Fatal Gold Hill, Nevada car crash death of Sean Speed – Obituary

Sean Speed, a 35-year-old man from Dayton, Nevada, lost his life Saturday afternoon following a solo dirt bike crash in Gold Hill. Authorities confirmed that the deadly incident occurred on State Route 342 at approximately 4:06 p.m. on February 7.

According to information released by the Storey County Sheriff’s Office, deputies arrived at the scene and found Speed lying on the roadway while wearing a helmet. He was unconscious and unresponsive when first responders reached him.

Emergency personnel attempted life-saving measures, but Speed was pronounced dead at the scene due to the severity of his injuries.

The Nevada State Police have taken over the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash. Officials have not released additional details regarding what led to the incident.

The Storey County Sheriff’s Office expressed sympathy and support for Speed’s family and loved ones during this difficult time.
