Fatal Sevastopol, Wisconsin car crash death of Stephen Stamm – Obituary

Authorities have identified the victim of a deadly single-vehicle accident in Sevastopol, Door County. Stephen Stamm, a 23-year-old resident of Egg Harbor, lost his life when his car veered off State Highway 57 Friday night and struck a utility pole.

Deputies reported that Stamm was traveling northbound at the time of the crash and was the only person in the vehicle. Emergency responders arrived at the scene shortly after 8:30 p.m., but Stamm succumbed to injuries sustained in the impact.

An autopsy was conducted on Monday, though results have not yet been released. The Door County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the circumstances of the accident to determine what led to the fatal collision.
