Fatal White Settlement home invasion death of Savanna Parker – Obituary

Savanna Parker, 33, was killed on January 30 during a violent home invasion in White Settlement, Texas, authorities reported.

Police responded to a home on Meadow Park Drive after receiving reports of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found Parker suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. She was transported to a hospital but later died from her injuries.

Investigators said three suspects arrived in a vehicle driven by 23-year-old Marissa Nicole Ocon. Two masked males, one a juvenile and the other 17-year-old Julian Xavier Ramirez, approached the home. One of the males forced entry, while the other stood outside. Parker confronted the intruders, using her phone to record them, but as the juvenile exited, he shot Parker multiple times. The suspects then fled in the vehicle, prompting school and daycare lockdowns in the area.

Police later tracked the suspect vehicle through video and license plate readers. Ocon was arrested February 6 and charged with capital murder. Mirabel Apodaca-Guzman was taken into custody for assisting the juvenile suspect, who is believed to have fled to Mexico. Ramirez was arrested on February 9 at a Lake Worth ISD school facility and also charged with capital murder. Authorities, with FBI support, are working to bring the juvenile suspect back to the U.S. to face charges.
