Fatal Miami-Dade County construction accident death of Osniel Rodriguez – Obituary

Osniel Rodriguez, 55, was killed in a construction accident at his southwest Miami-Dade home on Tuesday morning. The incident took place at a property in the 32200 block of Southwest 205th Avenue, just outside Homestead, where Rodriguez was reportedly struck by mechanical equipment.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue crews arrived around 10 a.m. and found Rodriguez’s body covered by a yellow tarp. He was the owner of Vazquez Concrete Finish Corporation and also the homeowner where the accident occurred.

Authorities from the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office confirmed that homicide detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.
