Angelina Tomas-Francisco, 45, has died following an off-highway vehicle accident in La Verkin, Utah, authorities confirmed. The incident occurred when an OHV carrying three women struck a pothole on Overlook Road, causing all riders to be thrown from the vehicle.

Tomas-Francisco, who was a passenger alongside an 18-year-old, was transported to a Washington County hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries. The driver, 20, and the other passenger suffered only minor injuries and stayed at the scene after the crash.

None of the women involved were wearing helmets at the time of the accident. Law enforcement has indicated that the case is still under investigation to determine the full circumstances of the crash.
