Fatal Catawba County car crash death of Charles McCullough – Obituary
Charles McCullough, 69, died following a single-vehicle crash in Catawba County on Tuesday night.
The collision occurred around 8:30 p.m. on Highway 10 near Robert Rufty Lane when McCullough’s vehicle veered off the right side of the road and struck a tree.
Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene. Officials indicated that neither speed nor impairment appeared to be contributing factors, and the roadway remained closed for approximately two hours while authorities conducted cleanup and investigation.
