Authorities in Montgomery have identified Aldric Patterson, 57, as the man who was killed in a shooting reported earlier this month. Police confirmed that Patterson died after being shot in the area of Old Selma Road and Alan Lane.
According to the Montgomery Police Department, officers responded to a call around 1:48 p.m. on February 6 regarding a person who had been shot. When they arrived at the scene, they found Patterson suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead shortly after officers located him.
Investigators have not released details about what led up to the shooting, and the circumstances surrounding the case remain under active investigation. No additional information about suspects or arrests has been made public.
