Fatal Brighton Park, Chicago shooting death of Harry Kirkpatrick – Obituary
Authorities have identified Harry Kirkpatrick, 70, as one of the two people found shot to death inside a residence in Chicago’s Brighton Park neighborhood. Kirkpatrick was discovered alongside a second victim, Ann Kirkpatrick, 43, following a late-night shooting.
Chicago police said officers were called to a home in the 4500 block of South Albany Avenue shortly after 8 p.m. Wednesday after reports of two people being shot. When officers entered the residence, they found both victims unresponsive.
The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed that Harry and Ann Kirkpatrick suffered gunshot wounds to the head and face. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have not released details about what led to the shooting, and no suspect information has been made public. Detectives from the Chicago Police Department’s Area One unit are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal incident.
