Fatal Louisville California neighborhood shooting death of Jashaun Brown – Obituary

Jashaun Brown, 38, was killed in a shooting Thursday night in Louisville’s California neighborhood. Louisville Metro Police Department officers responded just before 10 p.m. to reports of gunfire in the 1600 block of Garland Avenue.

When officers arrived, they found Brown suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The Jefferson County coroner later confirmed his identity.

No arrests have been announced, and investigators have not released details about what led up to the shooting. LMPD’s Homicide Unit is handling the investigation.
