Morgan Destiny Moore dies in fatal Lake Worth Beach pedestrian crash

Fatal Lake Worth Beach pedestrian death of Morgan Destiny Moore – Obituary

Morgan Destiny Moore, 31, of Lake Worth Beach, Florida, died Monday evening after being hit by a car while crossing Lucerne Avenue near her apartment. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office reported that the incident occurred just before 8 p.m., as a Hyundai Genesis was traveling westbound on the outside lane east of Lakeside Drive.

Moore was walking from south to north, outside of a marked crosswalk, when the vehicle struck her, tossing her onto the pavement. Palm Beach County Fire Rescue responded immediately and transported her to St. Mary’s Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead at 9:04 p.m., approximately an hour after the crash. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal collision.
