A deadly shooting Sunday night in Clinton has claimed the life of 23-year-old Enoshia Cromer, authorities confirmed.

Police responded just before 10 p.m. to the Forrest Glen Apartments off Highway 56, where they discovered Cromer suffering from a gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene, and the Laurens County Coroner’s Office has classified her death as a homicide.

The investigation is being conducted with assistance from the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office and the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division. Officials have stated that the incident appears to be isolated and that there is no known danger to the public.
