Braulio Gonzalez Amayo, 53, of Kerman, was killed Saturday evening in a suspected DUI crash on Kearney Boulevard near Dickerson Avenue. He was pronounced dead at the scene after his Chevrolet Malibu veered off the road and struck a tree.
Authorities reported that Amayo was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. Alcohol is believed to have played a role in the crash, which remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
