Fatal Madison shooting death of Christine A. Jones – Obituary

Authorities have identified 61-year-old Christine A. Jones of Cottage Grove as the woman who was killed in a shooting at a downtown Madison parking structure.

The incident occurred on March 22 in the 300 block of West Washington Avenue, where Jones was found with a gunshot wound inside a parking ramp. She was pronounced dead as a result of her injuries.

The Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed her identity following the investigation.

Police are seeking murder charges against a 31-year-old woman in connection with the case as the investigation continues.
