Fatal Fond du Lac County car crash death of Jacqueline Rutelle – Obituary

Officials have confirmed the identity of a woman who lost her life in a rollover crash in Fond du Lac County. Jacqueline Rutelle, 30, of Waukesha, was declared dead at the scene after the late-night accident on April 1.

According to the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office, a 911 call was received at approximately 11:52 p.m. from a passing driver reporting a single-vehicle crash at the intersection of County Highway W and County Highway BB in the Town of Ashford.

Emergency crews, including sheriff’s deputies and multiple local fire and ambulance units, responded to the scene. Investigators determined that Rutelle had been driving a pickup truck on Highway BB when she was unable to navigate a curve. The vehicle left the roadway, went down an embankment, struck a culvert, and overturned onto Highway W.

The crash led to the closure of the intersection for about three hours while authorities handled the scene. Rutelle was the only occupant in the vehicle at the time.

Family members have since set up a GoFundMe campaign to assist with funeral expenses. The crash remains under active investigation by authorities.
