Carry Campbell Jr., 24, of Roland, North Carolina, was killed on the evening of March 29 after a motorcycle accident on eastbound I-20 in Lee County.
According to Lee County Coroner Larry Logan, Campbell lost control of his motorcycle, causing him to spill onto the roadway. He was then struck by a van, resulting in fatal injuries.
Authorities reported that the van involved in the collision was a Mercedes, and the crash caused blunt force trauma leading to Campbell’s death. The Lee County Highway Patrol is investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
