Fatal Nashville hit-and-run death of Yulonda Parham and Kanon Oldham – Obituary
Yulonda Parham, 31, and Kanon Oldham, 27, were killed early Sunday morning in a hit-and-run on the 100 block of Lafayette Street in Nashville. Police said the crash occurred around 2 a.m. when a 2011 Lexus IS 250, traveling at a high rate of speed, struck the two pedestrians. Both victims were transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where they later died.
Witnesses reported that the male driver stopped briefly after the collision but then fled on foot. The Lexus’ female registered owner arrived at the scene and assisted investigators. Police noted there were no signs of alcohol or drug use in the vehicle, which was later towed for forensic examination.
