Fatal Montgomery County home shooting death of Christopher Gove – Obituary
Authorities have identified 32-year-old Christopher Gove as the victim of a fatal shooting inside a home in Montgomery County.
Police responded around 5:55 a.m. on April 9 to the 12500 block of Carrington Hill Drive, where they discovered Gove suffering from apparent gunshot wounds inside the residence. He was transported to a nearby hospital but later died from his injuries.
Not long after the incident, officers were called to a separate location at West Montgomery Avenue and Darnestown Road, where Gove’s black Toyota Highlander was found abandoned following a single-vehicle crash.
Investigators have not made any arrests, and the case remains under active investigation. Detectives are asking residents in the Willow Ridge area and surrounding neighborhoods to check any surveillance or doorbell camera footage from the early morning hours for anything unusual.
