Fatal Blendon Township Interstate 270 car crash death of Aobyda Nadeem – Obituary
Authorities have confirmed that 24-year-old Aobyda Nadeem lost his life following a wrong-way collision on Interstate 270 in Blendon Township on April 23.
According to the Franklin County Coroner’s Office, Nadeem was driving a Chevrolet Cruze in the wrong direction along the southbound lanes of I-270, just north of Dempsey Road, when the crash occurred around 12:47 a.m. His vehicle struck an Audi A3 traveling in the correct direction, resulting in a head-on collision.
Emergency responders rushed both drivers to Mount Carmel East Hospital in critical condition. Nadeem later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
The crash led to a temporary shutdown of the interstate as investigators from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office examined the scene and worked to remove the damaged vehicles.
Officials continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
