A young man from Lacombe, officially identified as Chance’lor Parker, met his demise after being shot in the area around Possum Hollow Park on Wednesday, October 15th. This confirmation came from the St. Tammany Parish Coroner’s office.

Police forces arrived at the location just before 5 p.m. following an urgent 911 call that reported gunfire in the vicinity, prompting their immediate response.

Once the officers reached the scene, they encountered a person who had suffered from multiple bullet wounds, indicating a violent incident.

In an attempt to provide medical attention, Chance’lor Parker was airlifted to a regional healthcare facility, but ultimately, he was pronounced dead upon his arrival there.
