Fatal Atlantic City, New Jersey, blunt force trauma death of Christina Burdette
Law enforcement confirmed that a 22-year-old woman from Atlantic City has been formally accused, with suspicion pointing towards her involvement in the demise of a 34-year-old woman, Christina Burdette, whose body was discovered lifeless within a residence in Atlantic City, New Jersey, on the 11th of October, 2025.
Law enforcement authorities reported that Ceani Barnes, who is 22 and also resides in Atlantic City, has been charged with the serious offense of aggravated manslaughter in relation to the death of Christina Burdette, who was a local resident.
Investigators have not yet released details regarding the specific reasons why Barnes initially attracted their attention.
On the morning of Saturday, the 11th of October, 2025, at approximately 10:08 a.m., Burdette was found without response at a house situated in the 2000 block of Sheridan Avenue in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Medical examiners later announced her passing at the scene.
Preliminary findings from a post-mortem examination indicated that Burdette’s death resulted from complications arising from multiple injuries caused by blunt force impact, coupled with long-term abuse.
The police have officially classified Burdette’s passing as a criminal homicide incident.
