Border Patrol personnel initiated a chase after observing several individuals fleeing the border barrier and entering a stolen Infiniti G37 vehicle. The authorities reported that the driver failed to navigate a curve properly, resulting in a loss of vehicle control. The car subsequently struck a curb and a streetlight pole on Paisano, causing it to overturn.

The crash involved seven individuals in total. Tragically, two passengers lost their lives, while the remaining occupants were transported to the hospital for medical attention. All those injured were from Central American nations, specifically Guatemala and Honduras. The 18-year-old driver was identified as a resident of El Paso.
