An unfortunate head-on collision occurred on Highway 23, situated just southwest of the town of Foley and approximately 12 miles northeast of St. Cloud, leading to one fatality earlier last evening. According to the State Patrol’s account, this serious traffic incident was reported around 8:00 p.m. The crash involved two pickup trucks moving in opposite directions, though the report does not specify which driver deviated from their lane.

The State Patrol has confirmed that the deceased is a 64-year-old resident of St. Cloud named Edward Leroy Hindermann. In the other vehicle, a 17-year-old girl from the town of Foreston was the driver, though her identity has not been made public. She received treatment at St. Cloud Hospital for injuries that were not considered critical.
