Fatal Jefferson County crashes death of Robby Shawn Isbell and Manfred Arvel McCarroll – Obituary
Robby Shawn Isbell, 38, of Pell City, and Manfred Arvel McCarroll, 49, of Bessemer, have died in separate traffic accidents on interstates in Jefferson County, Alabama.
Isbell was involved in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 20 eastbound near mile marker 141 in Leeds at 9:55 a.m. Friday. He was transported to UAB Hospital in Birmingham but was pronounced dead at 10:46 a.m.
McCarroll was driving alone in a single-vehicle accident on Interstate 59/20 southbound in Fairfield at 8:13 p.m. Saturday. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 8:31 p.m.
A third man also died early Sunday in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 22 near mile marker 91 in Brookside. The victim was pronounced dead at 3 a.m. and has not yet been identified.
All three accidents remain under investigation by Alabama State Troopers, and no further details have been released.
