Fatal Somerset County, Pennsylvania car crash death of Curtis Green and Dorothy Green – Obituary
Authorities in Somerset County have confirmed that two people lost their lives in a single-vehicle crash earlier this week along Route 601 in Somerset Township. The victims were identified as 61-year-old Curtis Green and 84-year-old Dorothy Green.
According to state police, the crash occurred shortly before 8:30 a.m. Monday near the intersection of North Center Avenue and Lake Road. Investigators reported that the SUV carrying the victims veered off the roadway and struck several objects, including curbs, a traffic sign, and a utility pole before coming to a stop.
Both Curtis and Dorothy Green were pronounced dead at the scene. A third occupant, a 64-year-old man, sustained serious injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
Emergency crews responded to the incident, and a portion of the roadway was shut down for several hours as officials worked at the scene. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
