Andrian Anthony Visser, 54, died Monday evening following a crash involving a motorcycle near Interstate 485 in Matthews, authorities reported.
The Matthews Police Department said the incident occurred around 8:04 p.m. on March 23 near the East Independence Boulevard exit ramp. Visser, who was riding a bicycle at the time, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The motorcyclist involved in the collision was transported to a hospital in critical but stable condition.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
