Authorities in Delaware have confirmed that Jerry Lee Hall, a 42-year-old man from Lincoln, died after a shooting incident in the Milton area.

According to Delaware State Police, the incident occurred on April 11 in the 20000 block of Forest Road, south of Milton, where Hall was visiting a residence. Investigators say a 62-year-old man from Milton, Myron Savage, arrived at the location on a three-wheeled motorized scooter and approached Hall, who was standing in the yard. Savage allegedly opened fire multiple times before fleeing the scene.

Hall was pronounced dead where the shooting took place, and state police homicide detectives were called in to lead the investigation.

Law enforcement later issued an arrest warrant for Savage, who was taken into custody the following day in Harrington. He has been charged with first-degree murder and weapons-related offenses and is being held at Sussex Correctional Institution after failing to post bail set at over $1 million.
