Robert Saul Ochoa, a 66-year-old resident of Weldon, lost his life after a motorcycle collision in Kern County.
The Kern County Coroner’s Office confirmed that Robert Saul Ochoa died following a crash that occurred in Kernville along Sierra Way, just south of Camp 9.
The incident took place on March 7 at approximately 3:28 p.m. while Ochoa was riding a motorcycle. For reasons that remain unclear, he went down on the roadway and suffered severe injuries.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but Ochoa was declared dead where the crash occurred.
Authorities have not released additional details about what led to the accident, and the investigation remains part of standard procedures following fatal roadway incidents.
