Emergency responders from the fire department arrived at the location following reports of a serious accident. They were dispatched shortly after the incident occurred early in the morning hours. According to law enforcement officials, the fatal event transpired around 2:40 in the early morning time.

The crash took place near a specific area involving two different road names, located several miles west of the Summerville community. Details indicate that a particular vehicle model, a four-door automobile, was moving in one direction at the same time the victim was walking in the opposite direction on the wrong side of the road. This positioning apparently led to the collision.

The individual behind the wheel of the vehicle involved was the only occupant and was not seriously hurt. However, the pedestrian involved in the accident passed away immediately at the scene where the collision happened. Traffic control measures were put into place, causing a delay on the road.
