Fatal Columbus pedestrian crash death of Lawrence Allen Sutton – Obituary
COLUMBUS, Ga. — Lawrence Allen Sutton, 70, was killed Sunday morning after being struck by a vehicle on Veterans Parkway near Almond Road. Sutton was transported to Piedmont Columbus Regional Emergency Room, where he was pronounced dead at 6:48 p.m.
Columbus police officers responded to the scene and the Motor Squad is leading the investigation into the incident. The Muscogee County Coroner confirmed that Sutton’s death was accidental.
