Fatal Nye County crash death of Raymond Delbert Rogers – Obituary

Raymond Delbert Rogers, 83, of Pahrump, lost his life Wednesday morning in a single-vehicle accident on State Route 160. The Chrysler Town and Country van he was driving overturned near mile marker 30 around 8:30 a.m., according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.

A passenger in the vehicle sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Authorities reported that the van veered into the southbound lane, left the roadway, and entered a desert area, where it collided with a fence. The incident temporarily closed SR160 between Pahrump and U.S. 95 as investigators examined the scene.

The Nevada State Police Highway Patrol is conducting the investigation. NSP Southern Command has recorded seven fatal crashes resulting in seven deaths so far in 2026.
