Fatal Hicksville crash death of Lindsey Parke – Obituary

Lindsey Parke, 19, of Levittown, was killed Friday night in a serious vehicle accident that also claimed the life of Alexa Duryea, 19, also from Levittown. Parke, a member of the Levittown Fire Department, was remembered for her dedication, hard work, and for brightening the department with homemade cupcakes and cookies.

The two were passengers in a BMW traveling west on Old Country Road when the car veered into oncoming traffic, collided with a tree, and crashed into a nearby building.

The 23-year-old driver of the vehicle survived the crash and was hospitalized for treatment.
