Fatal Winkler County crash death of Angel Galindo – Obituary
Angel Galindo, 26, of Midland, Texas, was killed in a two-vehicle collision on State Highway 302 in Winkler County on January 31, 2026. The crash occurred near mile marker 214 around 6:25 a.m.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Galindo was driving a westbound GMC Sierra that unexpectedly crossed into the eastbound lane and collided with a 2025 Ford F-250. Galindo, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to Winkler Memorial Hospital, where he later died.
The driver of the Ford sustained minor injuries and was also wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the collision.
