Fatal Pendleton County shooting death of Camille McClanahan and James Hall – Obituary

Camille McClanahan, 40, and James Hall, 50, were found dead in a suspected murder-suicide at their home on Hogg Ridge Road in Pendleton County, Kentucky, authorities confirmed. The bodies were discovered during a welfare check around 11 p.m. Sunday.

The Pendleton County Sheriff’s Office requested the Kentucky State Police to lead the investigation. Officials determined that Hall shot McClanahan before taking his own life. No note was recovered at the scene, and the motive is still under investigation.

State police remained on site for several hours overnight before concluding their work by dawn.
