Fatal Sedgwick County pedestrian accident death of Clyde Gibbs – Obituary
Clyde Gibbs, 41, of Wichita, was killed Monday evening after being struck by a vehicle while crossing a street. The incident occurred shortly after 6:30 p.m. on Broadway when a 2011 gray Toyota Camry, driven by a 41-year-old man, hit Gibbs mid-block.
Emergency responders rushed Gibbs to a nearby hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries. The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with authorities as the Wichita Police Department’s Critical Accident Team investigates the circumstances surrounding the collision.
