Investigators report that Ashley DiBartolomeo, a 22-year-old woman, lost control of her motorcycle while attempting a left turn. The crash resulted in her motorcycle striking a vehicle being operated by David Rivera.

Despite receiving immediate medical attention administered by responding emergency personnel at the accident location, Ms. DiBartolomeo’s injuries were ultimately declared fatal. She was subsequently transported to Huntington Hospital for further treatment, but her condition proved irreversible.

Mr. Rivera, who was driving the other vehicle at the time of the collision, also sustained some injuries. The extent of his injuries was not severe, leading to his release from medical facilities after receiving treatment for minor wounds.
