Fatal Gallatin County, Ky. car crash death of Iveth Salgado Calerdon – Obituary
Kentucky State Police say a deadly traffic collision occurred Tuesday evening along U.S. 42 East in Gallatin County, claiming the life of a young woman from Warsaw, Kentucky. Troopers were dispatched to the scene shortly after 7:30 p.m. following reports of a serious multi-vehicle crash.
According to early findings, a westbound 2011 Chevrolet Silverado driven by 20-year-old Dalton Hamlin of Crittenden crossed the center line of the roadway. The pickup then collided head-on with an eastbound 2023 Ford Bronco operated by Iveth Salgado Calerdon, age 24, of Warsaw.
Iveth Salgado Calerdon suffered fatal injuries in the impact and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Gallatin County Coroner. Authorities confirmed that her family has been notified of her death.
Kentucky State Police Post 5 accident reconstruction specialists are continuing to examine the circumstances surrounding the crash. The investigation remains active as officials work to determine all contributing factors.
