Fatal Marshall County, Mississippi plane crash death of Wesley Bolden – Obituary
Wesley Bolden, 29, of Marshall County, was one of two people who lost their lives Sunday after a small aircraft crashed near the Holly Springs-Marshall County Airport in northern Mississippi.
Investigators said the aircraft went down around 5 p.m. just east of the runway near Greer Road. Along with Bolden, authorities confirmed that 17-year-old Jordan Hall of Olive Branch was also killed in the crash.
Local officials and community leaders expressed condolences following the tragedy. Olive Branch Mayor Ken Adams shared sympathy for Hall’s family, noting the deep impact of losing a young life and extending prayers to loved ones during the difficult time.
The cause of the crash has not yet been determined. Officials said the National Transportation Safety Board is assisting with the investigation as authorities work to learn what led to the fatal incident.
