Edward Cervenansky dies in fatal Vilas County car crash

Fatal Vilas County car crash death of Edward Cervenansky – Obituary

Edward Cervenansky, 34, of Three Lakes, lost his life in a violent collision in Vilas County on Tuesday. The accident occurred on U.S. Highway 51, just south of Trapp Road in the town of Arbor Vitae, roughly 20 miles west of Eagle River.

According to initial reports, Cervenansky’s 1993 Chevrolet GMT-400 veered out of control while heading south, crossed the centerline, and collided head-on with a northbound 2001 Kenworth dump truck. Cervenansky was pronounced dead at the scene and was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

The driver of the Kenworth, 23-year-old Wyatt Fendryk from Green Bay, was unharmed. The Wisconsin State Patrol is carrying out a full investigation, including crash reconstruction and a post-accident inspection of the commercial vehicle involved.
